WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING...

Just wanted to send you a huge thank you for your presentation yesterday.  We all LOVED your precious birds and your volunteers.  You put on a very educational program that is professional and well presented.  We're still talking about it today.  ;)  The residents and the staff of our Memory Care community, loved, loved, loved your show.  We are all big fans of birds.  We hope to see you next year!  Nancy C., Life Enrichment Coordinator MCU, Eskaton Village.  3/20

I am so impressed with your presentations.  I am planning on coming to the Fundraiser this year - I've not made it in previous years, but I always regret it.    Cindy D., after our presentation at Colonial Heights Library, Sacramento.  7/18.

As we wrap the month of March, I would like to send my best wishes for a beautiful spring to your group.  Your wonderful presentation during our Franklin Community Library Re-opening Celebrations was a highlight for our community.  The families and young people who attended your presentation with the glorious birds of prey were delighted to see them up close and learn more about their lives and habitats.  Your group went beyond our expectations to work with our schedule and for that I will be forever grateful.  Thank you also for taking the time to prepare our staff with the details to best work with your birds...I look forward to another visit someday!  Until then, I will be sure to share your wonderful work with other libraries that have yet had the pleasure to host your group.  Ricardo R., Youth Services Librarian, Franklin Community Library, Elk Grove.  3/28/2017.

Excellent.  The presentation was educational, yet casual and, as usual, there was something new for everyone to learn.  And, the new cast of four, beautiful birds was spectacular.  Thanks to Mary Hanson for organizing such a great (annual?) event and to Kelli and the "Hawks Honkers and Hoots" team for sharing their expertise and wonderful birds.  Outstanding!  Richard E., in the audience for the presentation at the Mary Stephens Library in Davis, sponsored by Tuleyome.  9/2016

"Kelli and the HH&H team are awesome.  They are very knowledgeable about and skilled with the bird ambassadors, and it is clear that the team and birds enjoy being together.  The presentation was fun, informative, and left all the audience wanting to spend more time with the birds, Kelli and the team.  We look forward to having HH&H back to the Cache Creek Nature Preserve soon!  Thank you agin for a fantastic day!" Nancy U., Executive Director, Cache Creek Conservancy.  4/2016

"Tuleyome would like to take a moment to thank the folks over at "Hawks, Honkers & Hoots" for one of the best-attended lectures we've ever had in our "Nature to You" lecture series.  HH&H Founder Kelli Moulden and staff member Heila Hubbard brought with them to their presentation live birds that can be found throughout the new Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument; including a Burrowing Owl, an American kestrel, a Swainson's Hawk, a Red-tailed Hawk, and "Phoenix" the only Osprey that acts as an Education Ambassador in the state of California.
Our guests (mostly adults with a sprinkling of youngsters) were enthralled with the presentation and even raised their cellphones to take photos throughout it - something we'd never seen at one of our lectures before.  After the lecture, several participants went onto our Meet Up site to rave about the partnership.
It is truly gratifying to be able to work with such energetic, positive, and proficient partners who make such a impact on the nature-loving members of our community.  Thank you "Hawks, Honkers & Hoots".  Mary H., Executive Assistant Membership, Volunteer and Lecture Series Coordinator, Tuleyome.  8/2015.

"It was a spectacular and enjoyable presentation!  Even my hard-to-please 12 year old son was in awe."  Vanda, member of the audience at the Mary L. Stephens Davis Branch Library sponsored by Tuleyolme, 8/2015.

"Absolutely outstanding.  Kelli and team educated and entertained us in a professional, yet comfortable, manner, and the live birds were spectacular!  I would attend a HHH presentation again in a heartbeat.  Thanks to Mary and Tuleyoime for bringing HHH to Davis.  Rick E., member of the audience at the Mary L. Stephens Davis Branch Library sponsored by Tuleyoime, 8/2015

Thank you so much for the presentation at Turner Library in W. Sac today, Tuesday, June 30.  So professional.  I loved that the audience was included and invited to bring their knowledge to the program.  And all interruptions handled so patiently.  Love watching these birds in the wild and so wonderful to see them up close.  Cindy D., member of the audience at the Turner Library in West Sacramento 6/2015

Your program was so informative and entertaining that you could have gone for another hour and no one would have left. Jim R., President, North Fork American River Alliance 6/2015

"Thank you all so much!! We completely loved and enjoyed the presentation. Both the teacher and students cannot stop talking about it. Both of you and your birds were a hit! The girls cannot stop talking about how cute Clicky and Digger were. As for the boys, they enjoyed seeing the bigger birds, Trek was definitely their favorite."
"I want you to know that I was completely impressed by the presentation as well, it allowed me to learn about these birds and see them in front of me."
"You have yourself a new sponsor and I look forward to seeing you two and the birds again. You made an impact on our students. I had a young girl come up to me and say, "Mr. Perez, I would love to work with birds like this, I am going to do some research and hopefully I can find something locally and volunteer."
"I cannot thank you enough for coming out to our school!!! From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all that you do"
Gabino P., School-To-Career Coordinator 5/2015

"I have been booking (and watching!) children's programs for the Contra Costa County library for almost 25 years and I would like to let you know that you did a fantastic job. I appreciate your complete professional approach to your work. It made the whole experience worry free from begining to end."
"But the response of the children is what is most important. They were fascinated by the birds you brought and with the displays of feathers, etc. When I approached one girl after the presentation was over to ask her if she liked it, she was shy but her face was alight and her grandmother said, "She loved it! She has not stopped talking about it since she left the room."
"You did a great job of entertaining a truly intergenerational crowd. Thanks very much for the fun time!"
Margaret S., Youth Services Librarian, Walnut Creek Library 5/2015

"The presentation was excellent and held our attention wonderfully. The discovery table was really unique because you could touch and view the feathers and talons of various birds. I highly recommend this educational program to audiences of every age." Kathleen B., Activities Director, Mercy McMahon Terrace. 3/2015

"It was wonderful meeting Kelli and the staff of Hawks, Honkers & Hoots at our annual Salmon Celebration. They were a crowd favorite with their beautiful birds and hearing their stories was a moving experience that I will never forget. I can't wait to collaborate with them again soon!" Lia H., Education Coordinator for the Wildlife Heritage Foundation. 3/2015

"Awesome meeting Kelli Saturday in Galt.  So impressed at how new you guys are but I'd have guessed you've been at it for much more.  The little owl just melted my heart.  You guys are AWESOME!!  I look forward to seeing you again at an upcoming event.  I'm going to make a donation to help with food for the wonderful Birds.  God Bless your organization.  What you and others do for the birds & ESPECIALLY the Education side is such a beautiful thing.  That's why I donated & will be one of your newest crusaders for the Hawks, Honkers & Hoots organization!!  Look forward to "So Much Fun" at your fund raiser.  You go girls!!!  Keep doing what you do."  Ralph C., 2/2015
